Virtual Press Conference on
and other global health issues

Subject: World Immunization Week, ACT-Accelerator, COVID-19, and other global health issues

The directors of several agencies from the ACT-Accelerator partnership will participate to mark the two-year anniversary of the ACT-Accelerator, reflect on progress and urgent priorities ahead to facilitate equitable access to COVID-19 treatments, tests, vaccines and PPE.

Speakers include:

  • Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General WHO
  • Dr Seth Berkley – CEO, Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance
  • Dr Philippe Duneton – Executive Director, Unitaid 
  • Dr Bill Rodriguez – CEO, FIND 
  • Dr. Juan Pablo Uribe – Global Director for Health, Nutrition and Population, World Bank
